Elvezio Fortunato

Elvezio 'Elvis' Fortunato, born in 1975, is a musician known by those in the industry for his versatility and professionalism. Since 1997 there have been so many of his musical participations as a guitarist, arranger, author and producer.

 

Many are the records that feature his guitars, alongside Italian artists of the caliber of Laura Pausini, Fiorella Mannoia, Francesco Renga, Gianluca Grignani, Roberto Vecchioni, Giusy Ferreri, Arisa, L'Aura and internationals such as Sister Cristina, Ricardo Montaner and Belinda. Among the many experiences he has had for TV it is fundamental to remember Sanremo Festival, The Voice,

Io Canto, X-Factor, Sanremo Giovani, Star Academy, Scherzi A Parte, La Notte Vola, Amici, Buona Sunday, Ora O Mai Più, etc. Important experiences television ones, which led him to confront and collaborate with some of the biggest names in music national and international.

 

He treads many prestigious stages such as those of San Siro and of the Lincoln Center in New York, flanking live artists of the magnitude of Anastacia, Cher, Leona Lewis, Rebecca Fergusson, Eros Ramazzotti, Zucchero, Andrea Bocelli, Riccardo Cocciante, Claudio Baglioni, Gianni Morandi, Suzanne Vegas, Gianluca Grignani and Giusy Ferreri.

 

Session man and turn player who has trod the boards of theaters all around the world playing in musical works such as Cats, Jesus Christ Super Star, Fame, Cabaret and the Disney's High School Musical. Since 2013, he has participated in the annual mega-event of music international in Malta by tenor Joseph Calleja recipient of the Caruso Award and called by director James Gray to play the well-known singer himself in the film The Immigrant. The event has an international appeal, not only for the artists involved but for the conducting of the orchestra always entrusted to great maestros of world renown such as Maestro Steve Mercurio and Maestro Paul Bateman.

 

In 2014 he moved to Los Angeles for the production music of the first album by the world revelation Sister Cristina, working alongside the most influential turn players internationals such as Vinnie Colaiuta, Sean Hurley, Tim Pierce, Patrick Warren and Eric Rigler. He is also responsible for the artistic production of her events around the world (USA, Japan, France, Germany, Spain, Poland, Argentina, Brazil, etc.).

 

In 2017 he participated in the important musical Decennial of Luciano Pavarotti at the Arena of Verona. Since 2020 he has been a member of the orchestra of the Festival of Sanremo.
