From 2003 to the present, she has worked in her own workshop in the historic center of Naples as a master luthier and restorer of professional stringed musical instruments.
Over the years she has participated as a teacher of violin making in public and private projects aimed at the dissemination of this ancient craft.
His instruments (violins, violas and cellos) have been exhibited at major international violinmaking fairs such as “Mondomusica” in Cremona, “Musicora” in Paris, “Musikmesse” in Frankfurt and sold in Europe, America, China and Japan.
In her instruments she proposes the dissemination of the models of the ancient 18th century Neapolitan School of Violin Making of the Gagliano family, inserting a strong imprint and personal taste that characterizes her style.
Liutaia Clara Contadini builds its instruments completely by hand, respecting the ancient techniques of traditional violin making, with profound accuracy, using woods seasoned more than 15 years and personally selected, natural glues and varnishes.
With in-depth acoustic research and experience since childhood in the study of string music she gives her instruments an excellent sound timbre, powerful, balanced and rich in harmonics, also allowing perfect comfort and agility in playing.
All this makes each instrument of the Clara Contadini Luthiers a truly unique work of art and of the highest quality recognized by most professional musicians.
